Elizabeth Graduates!

She will be leaving for college soon. Boy this part is probably the toughest... second time saying good-bye and it still doesn't get any easier.

We had a nice celebration at my sisters house yesterday ... a farewell celebration for the college kids. She leaves this weekend. :(

I was happy to host the bash for the girls. I remember a time when they used to call me "mommy, I mean auntie." I loved it when they did that. I had some very special times with them. I taught them to burp properly and robustly. I took them to Duke of Glouscester street to window shop and get a treat. I did cartwheels in the living room with them. They thought I was crazy. Elizabeth used to pretend she was a dog and we used to wonder if she was ever going to realize that she was not, in fact, a dog. I remember when I got a new "do" and Shiela immediately wanted the same haircut. I had my own "mini me" way before Austin Powers thought of it. When I got married and had my own brood, I lost some of that intimate connection with them and they grew up so fast. And they are both bright, beautiful and impressive young women. You should be proud! Congratulations to all!

Nice memories... I remember telling you first that I was preggers with Elizabeth. I was tired and nauseous. I had to drive you to ODU early in the morning and it was so hot. While you were in class little Shiela and I went to BK. I had a coke. Then I decided to take a preg test and when you got out of class I told you.

time flies... so quick... I wish I could stop and slow it down...

Peace
Judy

The years have surely flown ... I too have fond memories of the sweet Campbell gals ... My first Grandchildren. Today one picture in my mind stands out ... It is of petite baby Elizabeth in her playpen and my dear Dad, Bumpa, leaning over to pick up yet another toy flung over the edge ... both Elizabeth and Bumpa obviously delighted with this game! Thanks for the memories ...

Oh I love that picture... Bumpa played with Elizabeth every afternoon when he came to the house. She would throw out her toys on purpose and he would pick them up and laugh at her. He always laughed at the mischief... in a kind way. I kept the news or sports on for him and he would sit there sipping something to drink and playing with Elizabeth... I was pregnant with Warren and I would lay on my bed and rest.
